Consolidated only collects personal data of a more sensitive nature (e.g. credit card details, account numbers and audio/video recordings) where you have provided the information and it is appropriate or necessary for conducting business.  Consolidated also collects general non-personal data pertaining to users of our sites, including IP addresses, source domain names, specific web pages, length of time spent, and pages accessed. This data is collected, among other things, to aggregate statistical data, facilitate system administration and improve Services.

Consolidated uses the data we collect to provide you with Services which you request and to improve our existing Services. When you contact Consolidated, we will keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues and your data will be retained for a reasonable time for use in future contact with you, or for future improvements to Consolidated’s Services.  In the event the data you provide to us is an application for employment, that application will be held in accordance with our HR policies.

Cookies

Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a website.  Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive.  Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that website by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related web pages.  This makes it easier for a user to move from web page to web page and to complete commercial transactions over the Internet.  Cookies should make your online experience easier and more personalized.  You can set your browser not to accept cookies and you may remove cookies from your browser, however, in a few cases, some the Services may not function as a result.

Consolidated uses website browser software tools such as cookies and web server logs to gather information about our website users’ browsing activities, in order to constantly improve our website and better serve our users. This information assists us to design and arrange our web pages in the most user-friendly manner and to continually improve our website to better meet the needs of our users and prospective users. Cookies help us collect important business and technical statistics. The information in the cookies lets us trace the paths followed by users to our website as they move from one page to another. Web server logs allow us to count how many people visit our website and evaluate our website’s visitor capacity. We do not use these technologies to capture your individual email address or any personally identifying information about you.

Security

The security of your personal data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Consolidated uses reasonable measures to safeguard personally identifiable data, which measures are appropriate to the type of data maintained, and follows applicable laws regarding safeguarding any such data under our control. In addition, in the payment areas of our site, Consolidated uses encryption technology to enhance data privacy and help prevent loss, misuse, or alteration of the data under Consolidated’s control. Consolidated also employs industry-standard measures and processes for detecting and responding to inappropriate attempts to breach our systems.
